Spillers Records
Hi, welcome to Spillers Records, Cardiff - online.
D’you like dubstep? Mary Anne Hobbs does, so much so that’s she’s compiled a compilation for Planet Mu called Evangeline - though actually it’s much broader than her earlier Warrior Dubz compilation, taking in grime and electronica too. If that’s what floats your boat, you should also check out the AI Records Sampler 08.
There’s also the very long awaited reissue of Dennis Wilson’s Pacific Ocean Blue. It comes with a bonus CD too, featuring outtakes as well as the Bambu project. We’ve waited slightly less time for the Fleet Foxes CD to appear, but it still makes a welcome appearance this week.
Still lots of instores planned
June 23 - Eugene Francis - 5:30pm
June 24 - These United States - 5:30pm
- and you can see pictures from past ones in the box below!

Who We Are
Spillers Records (us!) is the world’s oldest record shop, established in Cardiff in 1894 by Henry Spiller. We have contined to trade in music ever since from our premises in Cardiff. We specialise in independent music of most genres in both CD and vinyl, plus we have knowledgeable staff who will be happy to help you, either in the store or here at www.spillersrecords.com.
In other news...
Don’t forget - FREE POSTAGE on album CDs to the UK. Unfortunately, we do have to charge postage on bulkier items such as box sets and vinyl, especially since the recent changes to the price of mail means that these items cost us more to post. We also charge postage on CD Singles.
